SCORELAND: Mark, how long have you been reading SCORE and Voluptuous magazines?
Mark: I am pretty sure that I have the first issue of Voluptuous. Since then, I have very issue of Voluptuous, SCORE, and XLGirls magazines. We are subscribers, and when it is time to renew, we pick the longest term available. If lifetime were an option we would choose that.
SCORELAND: Do you have any favorite models from any era of SCORE?
Mark: Doesn't everyone? Early on I loved Rhonda Baxter, Dani Ashe, Diane Poppos and Lisa Phillips. Lately, no doubt, my all time favorite is Renee Ross. But, I do have to say that the first time we were in Miami and Barbie was shooting, we caught a glimpse of Roxy Red just as the elevator was closing at the hotel we were staying in. To this day, I have never wanted to get anywhere 30 seconds sooner than on that day.
SCORELAND: Do you watch SCORE DVDs or videos at SCORELAND?
Mark: Yes we have a membership. We don't buy DVDs much anymore because online is just easier.
SCORELAND: How did you meet Barbie?
Mark: We met at a motorcycle get-together. Our group had an unofficial rule that no wife was allowed to ride behind her own husband. From the time I first saw her, she was on the back of mine.
SCORELAND: Did Barbie ask you about the idea of her modeling or was it your initial idea?
Mark: It was definitely my idea. From the first time I ever laid eyes on her I thought, "She belongs in SCORE."
