Newer SCORE Guys may be thinking, Alexis? But to long time boob dogs, Alexis Love is one of the more remarkable figures in the SCORE canon.

Alexis debuted in the March '93 issue of SCORE. She was 42 years old, an age when most magazine models have been long retired. She was photographed for that spread in California, but for subsequent appearances traveled to the John Graham Studio in London under exclusive SCORE contract.

After March '93, Alexis showcased in November '93, August '94, Best of SCORE Fall '94, April '95, Best of SCORE '95, Best of SCORE '95, Vol. 2, May '96 (concurrent with the video Love Story), Best of SCORE Vol. 4 (1996), April '97 and April '99. Her Voluptuous magazine appearances were April '96, and October '97.

The complete Love story actually spans several decades, as Alexis began nude modeling at 18 years old and was known under many modeling names: Joyce Gibson, Joyce Mandel, Rina, and a slew of other pseudonyms. She quit in 1982 and went into real estate.

Then in 1993, a boyfriend showed her some big bust mags. She decided to give those younger models a run for their money and re-emerged as "Alexis Love." Our readers went wild over her body, her mature woman appeal and her beautifully shaped breasts. "More Alexis!" letters of demand flooded in.

From the beginning of her Love persona, Alexis did not want to show spread pink or do explicitly sexual posing. Obviously, stripping and hardcore were totally out of the question. From our titman's focal point of view, that was fine. A bazillion models spread. Very few models have Love-sized tits. We never asked Alexis to do anything she was uncomfortable doing, and our professional relationship with her went smoothly to the end.

The main point Alexis always tried to emphasize was that her huge, very firm breasts were all natural, due to a hormonal flood late in life. She was much smaller breasted in her early layouts. But the constant questions about whether Alexis had breast implants prompted her to take some action. The final straw happened after a fan at a Glamourcon show asked Alexis if she sold pre-implant pictures.

On 9/15/97, Alexis went to the UCLA Medical Center's Iris Cantor Center for Breast Imaging. She went with Steve Sullivan, editor of the fanzine Glamour Girls Then and Now, who acted as her witness. Her medical tests including a mammogram indicated "no evidence of breast implants." The next day she went to obstetrics/gynecology physician, Dr. David Kline, for another exam. His findings: "no evidence of breast implants."
